Where are you based and do you travel?

I'm based in Gulf Breeze, FL on the Emerald Coast and yes I love to travel! I shoot between Orange Beach, AL to Rosemary Beach, FL. Any location outside of Escambia or Santa Rosa County incurs a $50 travel fee.

If you'd like to discuss photography outside of the general Panhandle area, it will require a travel fee, depending on where it takes place. I am happy to work within a budget.

Will our images be edited?

Of course! I use photoshop to hand edit each image. I will remove people and objects from the background of your images and fix small thinks such a scratch or bruise. We are on the beach so it tends to be windy. I can fix a few fly away hairs, but generally leave it as is.

I do not alter your images in anyway that doesn’t depict the real you. I don’t make you look like someone you are not. You are YOU! Embrace it!

How many pictures will we receive?

For most hour-long portrait sessions, you will receive between 35-45 images. If everyone is having a great time (and that's my goal!) typical galleries are 50+ and I don't limit. If you are showing true emotion and having fun, I will include those images. I do not limit images in my gallery.

For a 8 hours coverage wedding, you will receive between 400 to 600 fully edited images. I always choose quality rather than quantity. I will choose the best and more significant photos to tell your story.

What if my kids won't cooperate?

As a mom of two kiddos 13 months apart, I get it! So many factors will help ensure you kiddos are the happiest they can be. I always suggest doing big activities such as dolphin excursions, day trips exploring or anything that exerts them to plan those for another day. Try to keep the day of the session low key. Make sure they are well rested, even big kids can use a little down time before the session. Adjust naps as needed. And of course make sure they are well fed.
Brings snacks and water to take a break if needed. Stay away from anything that may melt such as M&M’s.

I focus my sessions around the kids. We will be doing a lot of snuggling and playing. Throwing seashells in the water, dad throwing the kids up in the air, anything that will help keep them engaged and happy! I do have a few tricks that usually work.

What time do you shoot?

If you want to shoot at the beach, it is either at sunrise or the hour before sunset.

If we are shooting at a location other than the beach, this time can vary, depending on location and the amount of open shade in the harsh Florida sunlight.

Do you do mini sessions?

Yes! I do offer mini sessions at different times throughout the year. Mini sessions are only offered locally (Pensacola or Pensacola Beach).

What if it rains?

It rains in Florida. Quite a lot. The good thing is, often it is very quick and the sun is back out in no time. I will always recommend two days during a vacation to keep in mind in the event we are truly washed out for your first session time. I will always look at the forecast the day before a session and then quite often, the day of the session. If we are due for inclement weather when we are scheduled to shoot, we will postpone to a date that works for both of us. Your deposit will apply to the new date. In the unlikely event that it rains for the rest of your vacation, you will be refunded.

When will we get our photos?

Your will receive an online gallery link with all your photos within maximum 4 weeks, sometimes less depending on the season.

I want to book! Now what?

Shoot me your email address ( and I will process a booking agreement for you to sign. That, along with a $100 deposit that will be applied to your total balance, is all that I need to reserve your date(s)/time(s).
