The Lovely Larsons | Baltimore Family Photography

Baltimore, especially Canton, Fells Point, Federal Hill, and Locust Point, are totally known for the omnipresent row homes.  Row homes have been a part of Baltimore architecture since the late 1700's, with some of the oldest examples still standing in Federal Hill and Fells Point.  Most houses retain some of their original features, such as marble doorsteps (also known as stoops), which are widely considered icons in themselves.

I love, love, love meeting city families for photo sessions.  City families are proud of their urban jungles, revel in the quintessential 'Baltimore row' and embrace the stoop.  I grew up in the Patterson Park area so when I meet city families that have been part of the urban revitalization of these beloved neighborhoods, it usually means a fun, unique, and memorable session.

So one Saturday morning in November, I met the Larsons, who wanted their session close to their Canton home, on O'Donnell Square, and we had just that kind of session - fun, unique, and memorable.
